Louisa is a Trauma Informed Body-Based Shiatsu practitioner and AHPRA registered in Acupuncture & Chinese herbal medicine. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Health Science (BHSc) in Chinese Medicine, BHSc in Youth Studies with a focus on drug and alcohol addiction and Diplomas in Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies, Remedial Massage, and Holistic Counselling.

An integral component of Louisa’s practice is creating a safe, welcoming, and compassionate environment that allows her clients to escape the days stresses and fully immerse themselves in relaxation – essential to healing. Louisa enjoys the diversity of general practice. Whether your main complaint is chronic pain, digestive issues, low energy, gynaecological concerns or grieving loss, she has a way of allowing the healing to happen gradually, deeply and consistently over time.

Louisa has a keen interest in working with women pre and post-birth. It’s her personal experience that drives this interest, and it is her understanding that intimately appreciates the magic and challenges of having a baby. Louisa has completed additional studies with Suzanne Yates, founder and director of ‘Wellmother’ (UK), in the practice of Shiatsu during pregnancy, labour and the postnatal period. With more than ten years of expertise in the drug and alcohol sector, Louisa also has a special interest in mental health issues including anxiety, trauma, and addiction.

Louisa also provides Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture treatments which offers a natural, and non-invasive solution to chemicals and surgery to help improve muscle and skin tone, reduce fine lines and wrinkles. These treatments are complimented with facial cupping and gua sha.

Outside the clinic, Louisa enjoys getting out in nature, camping, cooking, hanging out with friends and family and more recently enjoying being a soccer mum.
